The girls thought it would be fun to ride the Ferris wheel inside the Scheels store today.
Before the ride....
During the ride. Notice the child to the right is not happy. She held on for dear life the whole time. She also got mad when I removed my hand from her to wave at Ashton and Nick. She perked up when we got to the bottom and stopped.
More swimming today. I think the kids look forward to the south Jordan rec center pool more than anything...
Brookie has been bugging me to teach her how to sew. I'm not the ideal candidate, but my mom and grandma taught me enough to teach brookie the basics.
Here is my mom with BrookLynn holding the sewing kit my grandma made. It is full of cross stitch, plastic canvas, and doll clothes kits. Brookie is so excited. She can't wait to start. And I'm glad my grandma, who passed away, and my mom have a part in this.
My dad and nick helped make a yummy dinner tonight. We introduced my parents to grilled asparagus. It was great. Of course, the kids ate most if it, as usual. After dinner the kids were offered ice cream cones for dessert.
Ashton is a funny kid. This is how he likes to eat his ice cream cones. Bottom first. He also loves to talk. I had to keep telling him to stop talking and eat his ice cream before it melted all over. I joked with him that he really cannot NOT talk. He really can't...
It was a fun day. So glad we are here.
