~Day 249: Silly Young Ladies

Brookie had her friend Cassidy over to play today.  They played with Brookie's 'doll house.'  The house happens to be the new bookshelf I found last week for WAY cheap.  She definitely knows how to use her imagination for things she does not have.

Cailee had her friend Joslyn over to play.  I had the hardest time to get them both to smile at the same time.  I kept telling them to NOT smile.  Then they got giggly and this was the best shot of them being funny.

And this is the sweet lady I met in the craft store today.  Her name is Helen Meek and she is 68 years old (she made sure to tell me her last name meant she was going to inherit the earth, like the bible says, and she would put in a good word for me since I was helping her).

I was looking for something when she started talking to me. Before I knew it, I was helping her pick out photo books for her project at home. We wandered all over the store and she was asking my opinion on things.  I was even carrying the supplies she needed to get, almost like I worked there lol it was a lot of fun.  One cute thing that she told many people standing around her was that if we wanted a hat like hers, we needed to go to Dubai to get one.  haha she was great!

Cailee thought she needed donuts this morning. She took the orders from Ashton and BrookLynn and  then wrote them down. She sounded the words out all on her own.

For example: Two chocolate ones. A Cinnamon one... There's a white frosting one in there... So cute! I'm proud of her.
She wanted us to tell her how to write it, but we made her do it.  So glad we did because it made her think things through.  This is a big step for her.
