~Day 257: He's Here and He's Early!

Meet our new nephew, John James R. (J.J for short!)  He is the sweetest little man.  He was trying to arrive for nearly two days, two weeks early.  Alissa has me beat for labor time (B was 26 hours).  Poor lady.  It was fun to see her and John tonight and meet this little guy.  Everyone looked great!  The kids can't wait to meet their new cousin.  The first thing Cailee asked this morning was if he was born yet.  I think she is the most excited.

John is a natural daddy.  It was so fun to see him take his son in his arms.  He rocked J.J. and talked to him to calm him down.  It was a sweet moment.  J.J. is very lucky to have two wonderful parents.  What a miracle this baby is.  I look forward to watching him grow up.
