Today we had a couple of friends over for a few hours. Their parents got away and went to see a movie. It was fun to have the boys over. It kept my kids busy. It was a nice morning.
The girls decided to switch their dresses around today. They received them from grandma Jocelyn when she was in town. If you can't tell, the purple one looks a little large on Beans. They didn't care. They like to wear each others' clothes. I'm glad they can.
This poor little sweetie started to feel icky halfway through the day. She is our sickly child. If she doesn't have a runny nose, you wonder what is wrong with her. I was laying on the couch, and she came and snuggled up next to me in a warm blanket. We slept for about an hour, I think. I'm sorry she feels bad, but I love the extra cuddles I get when she is sick. I hope she is only sick a short while this time around.
Tonight I went over to Jean's house (on the left) for a couple of hours. It was fun to sit and talk about whatever. Pam was also there. I work with them. It is great to see these ladies outside of work. I also met someone from the company that I had never met before. It was nice. I was only going to go and make an appearance for about a half hour, but it was so much fun I didn't want to leave.
I have heard about Jean's 'infused water' she creates. I was able to try it tonight. I had this strawberry and lime infused water. It was fabulous! I need to go visit Jean more often just to sample her water-flavor-making skills. Oh, and her made-up Pumpkin Cheesecake. I think I could live on that stuff. I wish I was able to create things...
If I did, I think people might die.
