~Day 2• 66: What do you call a day like today?

Blood drawn.  Didn't pass out.  MS drug reaction.  So fun!

haha I haven't had blood drawn like this in years because of previous MS meds I was on.  So this was basically my first time.  They couldn't find a good vein.  Once they did, the blood machine thingy kept beeping because the blood wasn't coming out of my body fast enough.  Once the blood finally started flowing, I felt light headed so they dumped me upsidedown and put an ice pack on the back of my neck.  I said it felt good, so they thought I was warm (which is a reaction of giving blood).  We are in AZ.  It was a warm day.  The ice pack felt nice.

Then my current MS drugs decided to have a reaction (thus, the red face and neck that will keep spreading all over) that had the people all looking at me weird.  They wanted to keep me for awhile.  They didn't want me to drive.  I should have just set up housekeeping there.. I would have water, snacks, a comfy chair...

Today I got to spend time with my friend Linda!  We started out at the Walking Company... we both needed some decent shoes/sandals.  We spend TWO hours in there!  Look at all the shoes the poor sales guy brought out to us!  He was great.  We both found what we were looking for.  I'm hoping mine help w/ my stupid plantar faciitis.  I have to stop going around barefoot first... maybe the black ones I got will be my 'house shoes' and help things.  We will see.  It was a lot of fun!  and we both got cute shoes!  (picture was pre-pedi... just wanted to point that out)

After the shoe store, I was feeling a little icky from the blood draw.  So we stopped at Paradise Bakery.  I had some yummy BBQ chicken flatbread sandwich.  It was so good! Linda had a pasta bowl that looked so good, too.  It was fun to sit and talk for awhile before we headed to get a pedicure.  The pedi felt good after the walking and standing we had done.  And our purple toes look fabulous!  Love this lady!  We always have fun!

I hijacked this picture from Lorelei...Brookie was invited to play at her friend Bridget's house.  It started out being a 'late-night-over' party (not a sleepover).  There was supposed to be three girls tonight who were all in the same class, but one of the girls couldn't come.  So Bridget invited Cailee to stay when she and Nick dropped off Brookie.  How nice was that!  It made Cailee's day!  They had so much fun!  Brookie ended up spending the night, so I brought Beans home.  She was sad, but she will have her own sleepovers another time!

I picked Cailee up around 10 PM.  This was her when we pulled into the garage.  The kids' bedtime is 8 pm every night.  So by the time I got her home and daddy carried her to bed, she was almost asleep at 11.  She had so much fun.
