~Day 341: Don't You Wish You Were Me?

I love to put the bacon in the oven. No grease splatters all over the stove. So into the oven the bacon went. And out of the oven it came. Black. I forgot it was cooking. One child told me about three times that it was disgusting. One other said something to the effect that I had a hard time cooking today. I like burned bacon. But even this was a little crispy. Some people ate it... So it wasn't a complete waste.

I took a nap today and had a buddy for a little while. She was reading to me. Then she kept coming in later to tell on everyone else. So the nap wasn't very good.

I pulled out some of my favorite books and read to the girls. I love the Harold and The Purple Crayon books!  They love them, too. This one was at my grandma's house forever. It's one I remember fondly. My grandma is gone now, but I still always think about her when I read these.

It was a good day to be me. Burnt bacon and all.
