~Day 2• 38: Boy! I didn't fall down!

Tonight Nick and I ended up at Oregano's.  Great Italian food.  And what night wouldn't be complete with Nick sticking his finger up my nose?  Boy, my life is complete.  Really, it is!

The day started out with some cute guests coming over to play.  It wasn't really early in the morning, but I still just rolled out of bed at 8 am when they showed up... I have FABULOUS bed head. Baby Joshua and his big sister Joslyn came over while their parents were at an appointment.  The kids always have fun playing.  And my kids were definitely excited to play with the baby.  He is so happy!  It was a rough start until he was reminded how awesome I am, and then we were best buds all morning.  I think he decided I was ok while his mom was gone.  We all had fun with our friends over. Oh, and Joslyn calls her brother 'Boy.' It's so cute!  "Hey Boy!"  Love it!

Just a few more shots (a few of the gazillion I took) of the kids having fun.  The older kids enjoyed playing with the baby toys more than the baby.  Cailee was crawling on the floor in front of Joshua, taunting him with cheerios... she would basically dangle it out in front of him so he would crawl.  Ashton loves pictures.  Joshua loves that Ashton loves pictures.

Later in the morning we had two more friends arrive!  Aunt Alissa and JJ came to play.  It was funny to put the two babies together.  The looks they gave each other was great.  JJ wasn't going to smile when Nick pulled out his phone for a picture.  Joshua would eat my phone while I took a picture if I let him.  Both babies were only slightly interested in the blue light of the fish tank.  There are not fish in it yet, so it's still kind of boring.  Both babies together on the floor... similar size, a few months a part.  Cute boys!  And Joshua thought it was great fun to pull Nick's arm hair.  He pulled on it for quite awhile.  It was quite hilarious!

JJ is always loved on when he comes to visit.  Brookie had a turn to hold him.  Cailee was trying to make him smile.  Uncle Nick was introducing him to the new fish tank.  And I just had to snuggle him.  He has the cutest and most expressive eyebrows I have ever seen on a baby.  Just love this face!  So glad Alissa came to visit!

After the friends left-- Cailee went to Joslyn's house to play.  Brookie stayed outside playing w/ the neighbor kids.  Ashton went to his friend Ian's house.  I ended up at the library for two seconds.  Then mom and dad ran away for awhile.  I really needed to start going through things to get rid of before we move, but the things we actually did were so much more fulfilling.

Oh, and I didn't fall down today.  So it was a very successful day.
