Cailee has had a cough for awhile. There was never a fever, so we just treated it on a day-to-day basis. I took her in to make sure everything was ok and to get a updated prescription for her nebulizer. Her lungs were clear, but her little nose was a bit inflamed. We knew she had allergies, but it was confirmed today again. We have been treating her correctly, which is good, but I received some more suggestions to try. Most importantly, I have that updated prescription in case she has to have a breathing treatment. I feel better having that on hand.
She doesn't look sick... she was enjoying herself. She kept climbing up and jumping off the bench. She never got hurt. But if she did, we were in a good place to get stitches if needed.
She was also having fun just twirling around. And more jumping.
Cailee is trying to copy a picture she saw. Nick recently did a photo shoot with a dancer, and this was one of the shots he got. She was doing the splits between two stools. Cailee is trying to replicate that. She did pretty well!
The kids are putting together the valentines for tomorrow. Ashton's class is not doing anything, but he was excited to help the girls. They were all pretty excited to get the cards and treats ready.
When Brookie got home from school, she said she didn't feel good. She was just really tired. So I told her to lay down for a bit. She laid down just as I took Cailee to the doc, and she was still asleep when we got home. She slept a little longer than 90 minutes. But then at bedtime, she couldn't sleep. She came out and sat with daddy for awhile. Daddy was sleeping while Brookie was not. Eventually they both ended up in their own beds.
