~Year 2• Day 3: What Does the Fox Say?

The day started out fun. The kids were teasing dad, so he got even. I love hearing their giggles. 

I call this our version of shoveling snow. Ashton went out and helped Nick clean up the yard today. They got out the leaf blower and 'shoveled our snow.'  Nick also had fun teasing Ashton by pointing the blower at him.  I'm not sure he enjoyed that.  But the yard looks nice. 

Tonight Alissa and John went out for Alissa's birthday. So the girls and I were able to come see JJ.  In the top left picture, Brookie looks possessed and JJ  is probably thinking "are we done yet?"  The girls sure love him. It's cute to watch him interact with them while they talk. 

He has a little fox hanging on his toy thingy. I swear he was talking to it. I want to know what the fox was saying. JJ and I also had some good conversations. We laughed and blew bubbles.  Well, he blew bubbles. I just encouraged it. Love my little nephew! 

I also had some company from the puppies. Edward lounged around and presented his tummy. Didn't take him long to ask for attention. He is currently snuggled up next to my leg, sound asleep. Sweet puppies.
